Senior Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Dynamics 365

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the migration of our data platform to Microsoft Fabric and support a large‑scale Dynamics 365 implementation. The role sits within a forward‑thinking organisation that treats data as a strategic asset and offers a hybrid working model (one day on site per week).

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and manage Lakehouses, Notebooks and integration workflows.
• Create efficient ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform and deliver data across the business.
• Support migration of legacy data platforms into Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with the Dynamics 365 rollout team to integrate and migrate CRM/Dataverse data.
• Perform data reconciliation, validation, testing and troubleshooting to ensure high data quality.
• Work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
• Contribute to data governance, best practices and platform optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data pipelines, Lakehouses and Notebooks.
• Strong background in building and maintaining ETL/ELT solutions.
• Experience delivering Dynamics 365 or Dataverse data migration projects.
• Solid understanding of data quality, validation and testing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
