Senior Data Manager – Cloud & AI Transformation

About the role

Join a market‑leading technology consultancy to help major organisations transform their data and AI capabilities. You will design, build and optimise cloud‑native data platforms that enable advanced analytics, intelligent automation and AI‑driven business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable, cost‑effective cloud‑native data platforms on AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Lead migration of legacy environments to modern platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse and Redshift.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts and minimum viable products for AI and advanced analytics solutions.
• Automate infrastructure, deployments and data pipelines using Infrastructure‑as‑Code, DevOps, CI/CD and tools like Terraform, ARM Templates and CloudFormation.
• Advise clients on enterprise data strategy, architecture roadmaps and platform design, engaging senior stakeholders.
• Apply modern architecture principles including Data Mesh, Data Fabric and cloud‑native AI architectures while championing governance and user‑centric design.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, bids and thought‑leadership activities.

Required profile

• Significant experience designing enterprise‑scale data platforms and leading cloud transformation initiatives.
• Proven consulting background with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of AI, advanced analytics and modern data architecture concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
