Senior Data & Reporting Analyst

About the role

Oliver James is seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Exposure Management team of a leading Lloyd’s market insurer. The role sits at the crossroads of catastrophe modelling, underwriting analytics and regulatory reporting, providing high‑quality data to support risk‑aware decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and automate regulatory and exposure reporting processes to reduce manual effort and increase consistency.
• Enhance underwriting‑facing reports for aggregate management and risk appetite monitoring.
• Strengthen data capture and quality across multiple lines of business and syndicate portfolios.
• Provide structured data inputs to exposure management and catastrophe modelling teams.
• Collaborate closely with underwriting, reinsurance, actuarial and risk teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience in insurance, preferably within the Lloyd’s market or specialty reinsurance.
• Background in exposure management, cat modelling support, underwriting analytics or regulatory reporting.
• Proven track record of improving, automating or rebuilding data and reporting processes.
• Solid understanding of insurance concepts such as exposure, aggregates and portfolio risk.

Required skills

• SQL (essential).
• R or Python (advantageous).

• Salary up to £65,000 per year plus a 10 % performance bonus.
