Senior Data Scientist – Telematics

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Telematics Data Value team. You will design and build cutting‑edge predictive models and features that turn telematics data into underwriting advantage, helping us deliver fair, accurate pricing and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop best‑in‑class machine‑learning models to predict claims outcomes, fraud and other risk KPIs, creating novel features from raw telematics data.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers to deploy models in cloud environments.
• Monitor deployed models and link performance to commercial and customer outcomes.
• Present findings and recommendations to operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Explore new technologies and help define team best practices.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python and experience with machine‑learning libraries for building and deploying solutions.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Experience developing solutions to novel problems in a data‑driven environment.
