Senior Data Strategy Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Strategy Analyst to join a high‑performing analytics team within the finance sector. The role will focus on delivering strategic insight, driving transformation and supporting senior stakeholders with data‑driven recommendations. The position can be based in London, Northampton or Glasgow with a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, risks and business opportunities.
• Develop analytical models and frameworks that support strategic decision‑making.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on transformation and analytics initiatives.
• Ensure strong data quality, governance and control practices.
• Contribute to project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and support collaborative delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in analytics, data science, research or decision‑intelligence roles.
• Background in financial services or consulting is preferred.
• Strong mathematical background with experience in classical statistical methods such as inference, hypothesis testing and regression.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
