Senior Desktop Engineer – £120K+ – London

About the role

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Desktop Engineer to join a leading hedge fund in London. You will support a global user base, primarily on Windows platforms, while collaborating closely with engineering and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and advanced support for Windows, Office 365, Exchange, Outlook and M365 environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and software deployment across the organisation.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to resolve incidents and fulfil service requests.
• Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure teams on complex issues and ongoing projects.
• Maintain and troubleshoot desktop hardware and peripheral devices.

Required profile

• Strong background in Microsoft desktop environments and cloud services (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint).
• Excellent communication skills with a customer‑facing approach.
• Proactive, analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline preferred.
