Senior Developer – Integration Platform (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join the Information Technology team at our Belfast office. Reporting to the Lead Engineer (Integration), you will design, build and maintain custom integration solutions that connect the firm’s core legal systems and support critical workflows such as matter ingestion, time recording and document storage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate integration platforms in line with firm‑wide standards and policies.
• Design, code and deploy micro‑services and web applications that enable system connectivity.
• Collaborate with fee earners and business teams to deliver software solutions and tooling.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, refine acceptance criteria and ensure high‑quality releases.
• Write unit, integration and acceptance tests and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide 3rd‑line support for operational issues and coordinate releases with Technology Services.
• Investigate legal workflow problems and act as the integration engineering focal point.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of micro‑service architecture and web application development.
• Hands‑on experience with agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and provide technical guidance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude towards operational support.
