Senior Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Developer to join a fast‑growing technology team within a leading financial services organisation. The role is primarily remote, with weekly in‑person meetings in Birmingham or London, and you will work in an Agile squad of eight engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality software applications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Analyse and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Required profile

• Hands‑on coding experience with a focus on delivering robust solutions.
• Proven ability to mentor junior team members.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• UK work experience within the financial sector is preferred.
