Senior Development Engineer

About the role

Outsource UK is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to join its innovative R&D team focused on next‑generation semiconductor systems. You will lead the design, development, testing and validation of advanced engineering solutions, blending hands‑on laboratory work with sophisticated modelling and simulation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced semiconductor engineering systems.
• Conduct testing, validation and performance verification of hardware prototypes.
• Perform laboratory experiments and create detailed models and simulations.
• Produce and review P&IDs and PFDs for system documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics.
• 5+ years of experience in systems design and development.
• Proven experience in hardware prototyping, testing and validation.
• Strong skills in modelling, instrumentation and measurement.
• Experience creating P&IDs and PFDs.
