Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Terraform Specialist

About the role

Join Chambers and Partners as a Senior DevOps Engineer and help evolve our Azure cloud platform while driving engineering excellence across the organisation. This hybrid position combines strategic cloud design with hands‑on automation to enable faster, reliable product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define, version and manage multi‑cloud GPU and CPU infrastructure using modular Terraform.
• Enforce GitFlow branching, code reviews and automated deployment practices for all infrastructure changes.
• Design, build and maintain secure, high‑speed CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including MLOps workflows.
• Lead incident response for critical platform outages and act as primary escalation point.
• Diagnose low‑latency bottlenecks, performance regressions and networking issues, delivering permanent fixes.
• Coordinate with third‑party support teams on incidents and day‑to‑day maintenance.
• Document architectures, system requirements and post‑mortems for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Architect and maintain highly available MLOps platforms across AWS and Azure.
• Build self‑service infrastructure tools and provide continuous training for developers.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating Azure cloud environments.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Hands‑on expertise with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitFlow processes.
• Experience handling incident management and complex troubleshooting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external engineering teams.
