Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of our DevOps services, cloud platforms and business applications. You will work closely with IT Operations, project managers and business stakeholders to ensure critical systems are secure, reliable and performant while supporting our digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Maintain documented code repositories, configuration standards and infrastructure as‑code.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to secure, optimise and scale cloud platforms.
• Provide technical architecture and support for business‑critical applications, including upgrades, patching and release management.
• Lead ETL processes and enhance enterprise data‑warehouse solutions.
• Create, configure and optimise databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ensure their performance, security and reliability.
• Support platform builds, upgrades, releases and fault resolution for various business information systems.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance across projects.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong background in application support, database management and data‑warehousing.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and third‑party suppliers.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and automation.
