Senior Director, Group Reporting & Technical Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Director to lead group reporting and technical accounting for a fast‑growing US‑listed technology business based in Central London. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, you will oversee a small team and partner with senior leaders to drive accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Oversee technical accounting matters, ensuring SOX compliance and effective internal controls.
• Lead a team of three direct reports, providing coaching and performance management.
• Partner with business stakeholders and senior leadership to deliver commercial insights and support strategic decisions.
• Leverage technology to improve reporting processes and data quality.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Extensive technical accounting experience within a SOX‑controlled environment.
• Demonstrated experience at a US‑listed, non‑financial services company.
• Strong commercial mindset and excellent people‑management skills.
