Senior Dog Groomer – Mobile Grooming Unit

About the role

Groomies is launching a mobile grooming service across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. As a Senior Dog Groomer you will be the first professional on the road, delivering premium grooming directly to clients' homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full grooming services: bathing, drying, clipping, scissoring, de‑shedding, hand‑stripping, nail trimming and ear cleaning.
• Groom dogs to breed standards or specific client requests, handling all sizes and temperaments.
• Conduct basic health and welfare checks, flagging skin conditions, parasites, lumps or coat issues.
• Build strong client relationships, advise owners on coat care and schedule future appointments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mobile grooming vehicle, manage equipment and stock levels.

Required profile

• Experienced senior groomer with a passion for animal welfare.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to high grooming standards and safety.
