Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our established Winchester office, delivering innovative building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of sectors. You will work within a collaborative MEP team, taking responsibility for electrical design from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical building services designs for sectors such as defence, healthcare, education, residential and commercial.
• Produce electrical design calculations, technical documentation and reports.
• Use industry‑standard software (CAD, Revit) and specialist tools (Amtech, Dialux, Relux) to create and validate designs.
• Attend client meetings, liaise with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Present designs for stage and peer reviews, and conduct third‑party design reviews when required.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with current legislation and building standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer within building services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with mechanical engineers, architects and contractors.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to handover.
