Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Manchester‑based multidisciplinary consultancy. The successful candidate will lead the electrical design of commercial, multi‑residential and leisure projects, delivering high‑quality solutions from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, lighting, fire alarm and security installations.
• Supervise and coordinate the engineering team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings and reports.
• Integrate sustainable design principles into project specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Liaise with clients, architects and other design disciplines to maintain strong project relationships.

Required profile

• BEng (or equivalent) in a building services discipline.
• Chartered status with a recognised body such as CIBSE.
• Proven experience delivering electrical design for new‑build and refurbishment projects.
• Experience leading multi‑disciplinary projects and managing design documentation.
• Team‑leadership experience is advantageous.
