Senior Electronics Design Engineer

About the role

Due to the client’s continued success, they are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Poole. The role offers technical leadership on electronic projects from concept through to production, with a hybrid working model and a four‑day week (Monday‑Thursday).

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of analog and digital electronic circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Develop hardware architectures for new and existing products.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and project teams to ensure integrated solutions.
• Support customer requirements, produce documentation and take part in design reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in analogue and digital electronics design.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers or FPGA design.
• Ability to own projects end‑to‑end and solve complex problems.
