Senior Employee Relations Advisor – Remote Contract (IR35)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join a global education provider on a three‑month contract. The role is fully remote and reports to the ER Manager, working alongside two other advisors to support UK‑based staff across school sites and head office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex ER cases from start to finish, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
- Provide pragmatic, risk‑aware advice on HR policies and ER issues to line managers and the wider HR function.
- Support Employment Tribunal matters, reducing claim risk through commercial, solution‑focused guidance.
- Play a pivotal role in an ongoing TUPE project, advising on process and employee transition.
- Collaborate with ER Advisors and other stakeholders to deliver inclusive working practices.
Required profile
- Proven senior ER advisory experience, preferably in the education sector or safer recruitment.
- CIPD qualification to at least Level 5.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best‑practice HR.
- Experience leading redundancy, restructure and TUPE processes.
- Skilled in mediation, facilitation and coaching with a track record of early dispute resolution.

- Remote working (home‑based).
- Daily rate of £260‑£280 (inside IR35).
