Senior Employment Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a senior Employment Solicitor with at least six years post‑qualification experience to join our highly regarded Employment team in Leeds. The role offers a varied, high‑quality caseload of respondent employment matters within an insurance‑backed litigation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex, high‑value respondent employment claims.
• Advise and represent business clients on issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and whistleblowing.
• Provide guidance on policy coverage and support insurers in claims handling.
• Deliver commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice across multiple sectors.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex matters and contribute to wider business initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 6 PQE in Employment law.
• Proven experience managing a varied and complex respondent employment caseload.
• Strong ability to provide clear, commercial legal advice to business clients.
• Experience in an insurance‑backed litigation environment is advantageous.
