Senior Engineering Project Manager

About the role

Premier Foods is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead major capital investment projects at its Carlton site, the home of Mr Kipling. You will shape the future of our manufacturing operations while guiding a high‑performing projects team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of capital, infrastructure and improvement projects from concept through commissioning.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines and supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food manufacturing standards.
• Develop business cases and capital investment proposals.
• Lead and develop a team of Project Engineers, driving performance and capability.
• Collaborate with site and central teams to deliver business priorities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven capital project management experience within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and engineering compliance requirements.
