About the Role

Join a transformative journey at one of the UK's largest and most complex public sector organizations. As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape for the Borders & Trade domain, ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and future-ready.

Main Missions

  • Define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy for the Borders & Trade domain in alignment with global organizational goals.
  • Operate at the intersection of business strategy, policy, and technology to deliver robust services for imports, exports, transit, and environmental taxes.
  • Drive the adoption of modern cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to modernize legacy infrastructure.
  • Provide architectural governance and ensure technical decisions align with commercial and procurement considerations.
  • Influence large-scale technology investments and manage complexity to maximize value for citizens and the UK economy.

Profile Required

  • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture within large-scale, complex environments.
  • Strong ability to bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and technical implementation.
  • Strategic thinker capable of managing long-term architectural roadmaps and governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making across business and IT functions.
