Senior ER Partner

About the role

As a Senior Employee Relations (ER) Partner you will lead complex employee‑relations matters for a leading UK mutual provider in the pensions, investments and protection market. You will act as the trusted advisor to managers, ensuring compliance with UK employment law while fostering positive workplace relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on employee‑relations issues to managers and teams.
• Manage complex ER cases, including investigations, reports and dispute resolution.
• Lead TUPE transfers and redundancy programmes from planning through implementation.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with business needs.
• Support organisational change initiatives and associated HR processes.
• Deliver training to managers on handling ER matters.
• Stay up‑to‑date with employment legislation and best practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience handling complex employee‑relations cases in a professional environment.
• Proven track record of managing TUPE transfers and redundancy programmes.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to provide clear, effective HR guidance to managers.
• Excellent problem‑solving, discretion and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not essential.
