Senior Event Coordinator

About the role

Our client, a leading industry membership association, is looking for a Senior Event Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of B2B events across multiple geographies. You will work closely with sales, suppliers and internal teams to deliver innovative, profitable events that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of allocated events of varying size, format and complexity.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create innovative, profitable event packages and ensure ROI.
• Work with procured suppliers to enhance the experience for commercial clients and attendees.
• Develop and implement event signage, collateral and other materials.
• Organise staffing plans, travel and accommodation for each event.
• Design floor plans and space requirements, and oversee on‑site execution.
• Maintain risk and compliance standards, including security plans and risk assessments.
• Lead on‑site briefings, manage staff and vendors, and ensure a seamless customer journey.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of B2B event management experience.
• Proven track record in strategic, operational and financial planning of exhibitions or similar events.
• Strong negotiation and contracting skills with venues and suppliers.
• Experience delivering white‑glove service to high‑value clients.
• Ability to identify problems, research options and implement innovative solutions.
• Experience managing compliance, risk policies and documentation for international events.
• Confident decision‑making and ownership of outcomes.
