Senior Event Operations Manager

About the role

We are an established high‑end event catering business in Central London seeking a Senior Event Operations Manager. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the operational delivery of a diverse portfolio of high‑profile events across multiple venues, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational planning and delivery for multiple events across London, from intimate functions to large‑scale productions.
• Manage front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams, maintaining the highest service standards at every event.
• Oversee logistics, staffing, transport, scheduling, equipment and supplier coordination.
• Produce detailed operational event plans and communicate them to all relevant teams.
• Lead on‑site teams to ensure smooth service delivery during events.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and tastings, providing operational expertise and practical solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, suppliers and clients.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in event operations within a luxury event catering business.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events simultaneously across various venues.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing staffing, budgets and operational performance.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional client‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, RAMS and related operational policies.

Required skills

• Operational knowledge of high‑end food and beverage service.
• Experience with health and safety compliance and risk assessment methodologies.
