Senior Export Coordinator

About the role

OpenWorks is seeking an experienced Senior Export Coordinator to manage the global movement of advanced defence technology. You will work closely with the Head of Contracts and Compliance to ensure shipments are executed safely, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate shipping and export documentation for international shipments.
• Manage export licensing activities and maintain up‑to‑date licences for defence products.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods worldwide.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with export controls and trade regulations.
• Support the contracts team in reviewing commercial terms for export compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in export and shipping within a commercial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to obtain and manage export licences for the defence sector.
• Strong understanding of export controls, international trade compliance, and logistics processes.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to maintaining high compliance standards.
