Senior Export Operator – Air & Sea Logistics

About the role

We are partnering with an industry‑leading forwarder in Essex to find an experienced Senior Export Operator. You will manage multimodal air and sea export shipments, ensuring smooth end‑to‑end operations for key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle air and sea freight export shipments from start to finish.
• Manage key customer bookings, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Keep customers informed of progress and address queries promptly.
• Monitor and achieve KPI targets.
• Secure competitive rates and maximise profit on each job.
• Prepare and process customs documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience with multimodal freight shipments.
• Strong knowledge of the full export process, including customs procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
