Senior Finance Assistant – 9‑month contract

About the role
This 9‑month fixed‑term position supports a finance transformation programme within a respected professional services firm. It bridges finance operations and management accounting, offering a fast‑track development opportunity for candidates studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities
- Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals and pre‑payments
- Support preparation of management accounts and KPI analysis
- Contribute to financial reporting and process‑improvement initiatives
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide finance insights
Required profile
- Strong all‑round finance experience
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent Excel proficiency
- Motivation to develop professionally in a finance transformation environment
