Senior Finance Manager – East Lancashire

About the role

Axon Moore is partnering with a well‑established international brand to hire a Senior Finance Manager for its East Lancashire operation. You will own financial reporting for six UK entities, ensure statutory compliance, and lead key finance processes in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate month‑end management accounts, P&L and balance‑sheet reporting.
• Lead the year‑end external audit process.
• Prepare statutory accounts and consolidation schedules.
• Manage fixed assets, leases, intangible assets and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare corporation tax schedules and support R&D tax relief claims.
• Drive improvements to financial controls, reporting and finance processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA preferred; ACCA or CIMA also considered).
• Experience in a complex or multinational environment.
• Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting knowledge.
• Proven experience managing external audits.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships across finance and the wider business.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial systems proficiency.
