Senior Finance Manager - Group Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead Group Accounting for a FTSE‑listed business. You will own the monthly consolidation process, ensure accurate IFRS reporting and act as the primary contact for accounting queries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the production of monthly consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow under IFRS.
• Own the Group close process, including GL month‑end, journal posting and timetable management.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliation across the UKI team and monitor completion.
• Drive continual improvements to consolidation and reporting, including ERP (D365) enhancement projects.
• Prepare group reporting packs and coordinate timely submissions from corporate teams.
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, ensuring smooth interaction with the general ledger.
• Liaise with external auditors for half‑year and year‑end audits and support HMRC and other regulators.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading group reporting and audit in a large, listed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory accounting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage AP/AR teams and drive process improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management with finance managers and business partners.
