Senior Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a purpose‑driven organisation that delivers life‑changing support across communities. As Senior Finance Manager you will sit on the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board to shape financial strategy and ensure long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the organisation’s financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Provide insightful management information and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, financial modelling and scenario planning.
• Ensure statutory reporting, audit coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain robust financial governance, controls and risk management frameworks.
• Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performing function.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve financial understanding and accountability.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels.
• Strong communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders and boards.
• Analytical mindset with exceptional financial planning and reporting abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including complex financial modelling and data analysis.
• Audit management and compliance expertise.
• Financial controls and risk management.

What we offer

• Salary £50,000‑£53,000 per year.
