Senior Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ACA‑qualified Senior Finance Manager to join a leading FTSE‑listed business in Buckinghamshire. This hybrid role offers the chance to lead group accounting, IFRS consolidation and finance transformation initiatives while working closely with senior finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the group accounting function and deliver accurate consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Own the monthly consolidation process across multiple entities, ensuring timely reporting.
• Manage month‑end close, including balance‑sheet reviews, reconciliations, journal approvals and reporting timetables.
• Prepare statutory accounts and support half‑year and year‑end reporting requirements.
• Provide technical accounting expertise for complex accounting matters.
• Develop and lead teams in Group Finance, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Drive improvements in finance processes, controls, systems and reporting capabilities.
• Support ERP enhancement projects and broader finance transformation programmes.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure efficient audit delivery.
• Deliver cash‑flow forecasts and financial performance insights.

Required profile

• ACA qualification (essential) with significant post‑qualification experience in a complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Proven track record in group accounting, IFRS consolidation and financial reporting.
• Experience within a large listed or FTSE‑type organisation.
• Ambitious professional seeking progression into senior finance leadership.
