Senior Finance Officer

About the role

The Senior Finance Officer will ensure that WEA’s financial information is accurate, timely and compliant with statutory requirements. Working within a hybrid model, you will support the organisation’s mission to provide high‑quality adult education across communities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and deliver key financial reports and information.
• Process income and expenditure accurately to meet reporting deadlines.
• Maintain and develop financial systems and administrative procedures.
• Lead and manage Finance Officers, providing technical guidance and fostering collaboration.
• Support statutory reporting and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance and accounting.
• Ability to lead a small finance team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of statutory reporting obligations.
