Senior Financial Accountant - AP & Reimbursement

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant – AP & Reimbursement will join the permanent EMEA Accounting and Reporting team. The role owns the Accounts Payable and reimbursement workstream for the EMEA region, supporting month‑end closing, audit and statutory reporting across multiple subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Handle accounting adjustments and payment termination processes for the EMEA region.
• Process supplier refunds and prepare manual journal entries.
• Support AP‑related fund recognition and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Manage PO‑related accruals and ensure expenses are recognised in the correct period.
• Perform quarterly PO accrual review, clearing and cost settlements, including allocation of overseas legal fees and user‑growth operational costs.
• Process expense amortisation and monitor related financial postings.
• Support monthly closing activities, including accruals, settlements and amortisation postings.
• Ensure financial data completeness and accuracy before period‑end closing.
• Assist with general ledger reconciliation and issue resolution.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Assist in financial statement preparation for regional entities.
• Support multi‑country financial operations for entities in Belgium, Israel and the Czech Republic.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ACA/ACCA part‑qualified or fully qualified preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in AP, GL or month‑end closing within a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment.
• Current theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS.
• Solid understanding of PO/non‑PO invoicing, accruals, pre‑payments and expense amortisation.
