Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

Lotus Cars Limited is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team at the Hethel manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for delivering accurate statutory and management accounts while supporting tax compliance and inter‑company processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and report statutory and management accounts in line with UK GAAP, multi‑standard and audit requirements.
• Maintain balance‑sheet control, ensuring accurate reporting across all finance business units.
• Support tax preparations, including RDEC and VAT compliance.
• Manage inter‑company transactions and reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Provide technical support for internal and external audits and drive continuous improvement of the financial control framework.
• Develop, maintain and enhance financial systems, particularly SAP, to simplify processing and improve controls.
• Document finance processes and procedures and ensure they are up‑to‑date.
