Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant will join a global finance function supporting recognised brands across the EMEA region. This permanent, hybrid role combines hands‑on month‑end reporting with participation in transformation projects, offering a high‑visibility platform for an experienced accountant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA month‑end close, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review complex accounting analyses, including revenue recognition and cost of goods sold.
• Validate journals and reconciliations produced by shared‑service teams, maintaining a clear audit trail.
• Coordinate with Treasury, AR, AP, HR and Payroll to guarantee correct accounting treatment.
• Support annual audits and the preparation of statutory financial statements for EMEA entities.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with several years of experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills to work with finance, FP&A and wider business stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards process improvement and transformation initiatives.
