Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A & Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Senior Financial Analyst to own the financial planning, analysis and month‑end performance for our Milton Keynes office. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will act as a key business partner, turning complex data into clear strategic insights for senior leadership while leading a small invoicing team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the regional month‑end close, manage core balance‑sheet accounts (accruals, pre‑payments) and deliver accurate sales flash reporting.
• Partner with commercial teams to build monthly P&L forecasts, manage the annual budgeting lifecycle and present financial models to executives.
• Monitor overhead spending against budgets, identify commercial risks and opportunities, and advise department heads.
• Direct, coach and mentor two members of the invoicing/billing function to ensure robust transactional controls.
• Drive continuous process improvements, verify financial compliance treatments and support annual audit preparations.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate FP&A or financial analysis role.
• Hands‑on experience with integrated SAP modules.
• Proven ability to present financial data to senior executives.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel data‑modeling.
• High proficiency in PowerPoint for executive presentations.
• Practical experience using SAP finance modules.
