Senior Financial Analyst – Hybrid, Reading

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance professional to join a global consumer products business in Reading. The role is hybrid and offers the chance to influence commercial decisions through insightful financial analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly and monthly commercial and financial performance reporting for a regional business unit, including the annual sales operating plan.
• Deliver KPI reporting and analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Take responsibility for budgeting and forecasting for the region, ensuring accurate financial projections.
• Support UK&I group budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Partner with commercial stakeholders and country leadership to provide financial insight and challenge.
• Contribute to country‑level board reporting and present key information.
• Provide consolidated P&L and performance analysis across the wider UK&I business.
• Develop and enhance reporting dashboards using Power BI and other visualisation tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting through automation, visualisation or AI tools.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent Excel skills.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Background in commercial finance, FP&A or finance analyst roles.
• Confident communicating financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Experience in product‑led businesses is advantageous.
• Curious and passionate about continuous improvement.
