Senior Financial Controller – Music Industry (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join a leading music‑industry finance function in London. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office, and offers the chance to work closely with major record labels, artists, and an executive leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes and produce management accounts and board packs.
• Own statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and external audit coordination.
• Maintain balance‑sheet governance, reconciliations and working‑capital management.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and uphold strong financial controls.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and transformation projects.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Distribution, Transformation, People, Projects and Change.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing finance team and deputise for the Finance Director when required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid financial controller experience.
• Proven ability to operate in a visible leadership role and influence senior decision‑makers.
• Experience in statutory reporting, audit management and regulatory compliance.
