Senior Financial Planner – High Net Worth Clients

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Planner to join an award‑winning Chartered Wealth Management firm in the North‑West. The role will manage a client book of up to £50 million in assets, primarily high‑net‑worth individuals, and will be based in Knutsford with hybrid working options.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and contact potential clients in line with the firm’s business plan.
• Maintain up‑to‑date CPD records and stay compliant with regulatory, product and legislative changes.
• Hold a current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) at all times.
• Gather comprehensive client information before providing recommendations.
• Deliver suitable financial solutions that meet each client’s objectives while adhering to risk‑management and operational standards.

Required profile

• Proactive approach to business development and client acquisition.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex financial solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑net‑worth clients.
• Commitment to high standards of risk management and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and FCA Conduct Rules.
• Understanding of wealth‑management products and services.

What we offer

• Base salary negotiable around £85,000 per annum.
• Target bonus potential of £120,000‑£140,000.
