Senior Financial Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Planner to manage an existing portfolio of 30‑40 high‑net‑worth clients for an independent wealth‑management firm based near Newbury. The role combines advisory expertise with business development in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive advice on pensions, investments, retirement, tax, inheritance, trusts, mortgages and protection products.
• Manage client assets across multiple platforms, primarily Fidelity, Aviva, Royal London and Prudential.
• Maintain and grow the existing client bank while generating new business opportunities.
• Deliver tailored financial plans for clients with assets ranging from £300k to several millions.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced advisers to uphold the firm’s high service standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior financial adviser or planner serving high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of 30‑40 clients and expand the client base.
• Strong understanding of UK wealth‑management regulations and products.
• Willingness to work onsite initially with the option to work from home several days per week.
