Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in a high‑impact, client‑facing capacity. The role is remote within the United Kingdom and involves architecting and delivering robust, scalable applications for clients across the UK and EMEA on a 6‑month contract, with potential for permanent placement.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build high‑performance web applications using React, Node.js and TypeScript, owning the full lifecycle from UI to backend logic.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives with Terraform, ensuring reproducible, version‑controlled cloud environments.
• Design and deploy serverless, event‑driven solutions on AWS Lambda and related services, managing IAM permissions and performance tuning.
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and quality oversight.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines that integrate application code with infrastructure deployment.
• Provide consultative leadership within client pods, mentoring junior engineers and presenting architectural roadmaps to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong background in event‑driven architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and a consultative mindset, able to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working autonomously in agile, client‑facing environments.

Required skills

• React, React Native, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript.
• AWS services including Lambda, IAM, and serverless frameworks.
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline.
• REST APIs, GraphQL.
• Docker, Kubernetes, ECS.
• Automated testing and test frameworks.
