Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

ADLIB is a fast‑growing climate‑tech startup building a platform that helps households transition away from fossil‑fuel heating. As a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer you will join a 15‑person development team that is set to double in size during 2026, working on a range of web applications, hardware integrations and data‑processing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack features using React, Typescript and Node.js.
• Collaborate with product, design and hardware teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and relational database schemas (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Build and consume REST APIs, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews and technical direction.
• Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and validate solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product‑led start‑ups or scale‑ups, preferably as a founding engineer.
• Demonstrated impact on product outcomes and ability to showcase achievements.
• Strong product focus with a habit of talking to users and solving real problems.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset and a drive to make a measurable climate impact.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £75,000‑£110,000 per year plus equity/options.
