Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Thought Machine is building modern banking technology in the cloud and needs a senior full‑stack engineer to design and deliver high‑quality, secure, and performant features for a range of financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end features across the stack, including web applications and backend services.
• Write automated unit, integration and acceptance tests while ensuring security, performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams of backend, front‑end and full‑stack engineers.
• Manage and debug features from testing environments through production.

Required profile

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript building modern web applications.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing REST APIs and services.
• Ability to write clean, readable, well‑tested code and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
• Interest in client‑facing projects and translating customer requirements into deliverable tasks.
