Senior Full Time Care Assistant

About the role

Prime Life is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join the team at Holmes Court in South Wigston, Leicestershire. You will support 29 residents with learning disabilities, sensory impairments and mental health conditions, ensuring their dignity and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support the care team to deliver high‑quality resident care.
• Review and update care plans, conducting continuous assessment and evaluation.
• Engage with residents respectfully, adapting communication to individual needs.
• Administer and record prescribed medication accurately.
• Promote resident dignity, independence and quality of life.
• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities as required.

Required profile

• Genuine caring nature with a desire to make a real difference.
• Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably with vulnerable adults.
• Ability to work patiently, understanding and respectfully with diverse abilities.
• Commitment to follow safeguarding and DBS procedures.
