Senior Geo-environmental Engineer

About the role

Join a leading multi‑disciplinary engineering consultancy as a Senior Geo‑environmental Engineer in Northampton. The role is primarily desk‑based with occasional site visits and offers a hybrid working set‑up, allowing you to manage your own projects while leading a team of geologists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver geo‑environmental projects from inception to completion.
• Manage and mentor a team of geologists, providing technical guidance.
• Develop and implement remediation strategies for contaminated sites.
• Prepare, review, and interpret technical reports and documentation.
• Conduct occasional site inspections to support project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in geo‑environmental consultancy.
• Strong ability to write and review interpretive reports.
• Geology‑related degree preferred.
• Based in or near Northampton with a full UK driving licence.
• Right to work permanently in the UK.
