Senior Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading UK geotechnical business. Based in Wolverhampton with hybrid working, you will receive a £50,000 salary, comprehensive training and a clear progression path towards principal or directorship roles.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site investigations and collect geotechnical data.
• Perform ground‑condition assessments for pre‑construction projects.
• Develop and implement investigative policies and testing programmes.
• Analyse and process investigation data to produce reports.
• Attend occasional site visits while also working from the office or home.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science, Geography or Civil Engineering.
• Experience or strong interest in geotechnical engineering.
• Based in the West Midlands region.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
