Senior Housing Administrator (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Housing Administrator to provide essential administrative support to a busy housing team on a temporary basis. The role is hybrid, with office presence on Monday‑Wednesday, and involves managing repairs, work orders and resident services for a local authority housing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Raise, monitor and update work orders for repairs and maintenance.
• Chase contractors, follow up outstanding actions and coordinate reactive repairs.
• Maintain accurate records in the housing management system and produce regular Excel reports.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to operational teams, including data entry and documentation.
• Liaise with contractors, colleagues and residents regarding repairs, warden services, CCTV and door entry systems.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience within a housing environment.
• Experience supporting repairs or housing operations teams.
• Knowledge of warden services, CCTV and door entry systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Northgate or a similar housing management system.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data handling and reporting.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £16.83 plus holiday pay.
