Senior HR Advisor

About the role

This senior HR advisory position will have a direct impact on how the organisation supports its people. Working closely with the Head of HR Operations, you will act as a trusted partner to managers, providing commercial guidance on employee relations, TUPE activity and organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, performance and workplace conflict.
• Provide expert advice on employment law, HR policies and best practice to managers and stakeholders.
• Lead TUPE transfers, handling due diligence, consultation processes and transition planning.
• Support restructures, redundancy consultations and broader change programmes.
• Coach managers to improve people‑management capability and reduce risk.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and people projects that boost engagement and operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and current HR best practice.
• Proven experience managing complex employee relations casework.
• Practical experience supporting TUPE transfers and organisational change.
• Experience advising managers and senior stakeholders on complex people matters.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of UK employment law.
• Expertise in employee relations processes.
• Knowledge of TUPE and restructuring procedures.
• Ability to coach and influence managers.

• Salary of £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience.
