Senior HR Coordinator (UK, Ireland & Nordics)

About the role

The Senior HR Coordinator provides comprehensive People & Organisation (P&O) support for Sony Pictures Entertainment across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordics. Working closely with the Senior P&O Manager and the Executive Director, P&O, you will ensure smooth administration of employment contracts, employee lifecycle events and compliance matters for approximately 500 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Adobe Sign processes for employment contracts, settlement agreements and amendment letters, tracking signatures and filing documents.
• Monitor probation periods, flexible‑working trials, consultancy agreements and contract extensions, issuing outcome letters and ensuring manager follow‑up.
• Prepare leaver letters, manage equipment returns in partnership with IT, and issue reference letters as required.
• Raise background checks and references for new hires, maintaining progress logs.
• Verify right‑to‑work documentation, monitor visa status and keep the immigration log up to date.
• Maintain a database of notice periods, contract types and dates; track IR35 status and liaise with CPCL departments and joint ventures.
• Draft and issue consultancy agreements and support employment status checks.

Required profile

• Several years of HR administration or coordination experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, immigration compliance and IR35 regulations.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder queries.
• Proactive communication style and ability to act as a first point of contact for employee queries.
