Senior HR Manager – Fee Earner Focus

About the role

We are partnering with a prestigious US law firm to recruit a Senior HR Manager for their London office. The role will lead HR activities for fee‑earners and support the wider international network, ensuring a high‑performing, compliant workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance to partners, lawyers, managers and staff on employee relations, coaching, discipline, hiring and termination.
• Partner with directors and managers on business‑support staff recruitment and performance management.
• Collaborate with practice management, HR and employment lawyers on performance issues for all lawyers.
• Assist in preparing the HR annual budget alongside the Director of International HR and the CHRO.
• Develop and evaluate sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates and oversee interview and selection processes.

Required profile

• CIPD certification.
• 5+ years of HR experience within a law‑firm environment, focusing on employee relations, recruitment and workforce management.
• Demonstrated commitment to staying current with HR trends.
• Strong analytical, organisational and planning abilities.
