Senior Hyper‑V Consultant (IR35)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Hyper‑V Consultant to join a long‑term project focused on migrating VMware environments to Hyper‑V. The role operates under IR35 and requires the ability to work across multiple sites in the South and South‑East of England.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Hyper‑V clusters, high‑availability and storage solutions.
• Plan and execute migrations from VMware to Hyper‑V, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with client teams across several locations to deliver migration projects on schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during and after migration phases.

Required profile

• Security‑Clearance (SC) cleared or eligible to obtain SC clearance.
• UK nationality or Indefinite Leave to Remain with long‑term residency.
• Willingness to travel to sites in the South / South‑East, preferably based in or near London.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Hyper‑V (clusters, HA, storage).
• Solid background in VMware and proven migration delivery.
